Turmeric is having a moment.
Sure, it's a high-level Ayurvedic superfood powerhouse, but it can be easy to incorporate into your favorites and you can find it everywhere from Trader Joe's to T.J. Maxx. Here's a quick + easy recipe for a turmeric-style guacamole: Ingredients (1 serving): -1/4 of a medium sized avocado -1/6 of a lemon squeezed -1 pinch of Himalayan sea salt (that fancy pink salt you see around these days) or regular sea salt -1 pinch of turmeric Instructions: 1. put ingredients in a small bowl 2. mash it all up with a fork 3. enjoy as a dip for veggies or as a spread on your sandwich or avocado toast Free fitness is my jam. Lululemon and Athleta hold free classes at their stores and sometimes other places in the community. At the very least, they often have local instructors come in to teach a free yoga class, usually on Sunday mornings. You'll find everything from run clubs* to meditation classes.
